The structural plan, inspired by game blocks, was
designed on a slanted L-shaped plot soon after Moshe
Gil joined the firm. The main objective of the plan was
to work with repeating components in order to facilitate
the building’s execution and to employ novel building
technologies. Therefore, the entire design, in terms of
its plan and its section, is based on a constant volume
modul, a cube measuring 160x160x160 cm: two cubes
placed one on top of the other form the building’s height.
At various places the cubes are more freely arranged
to form prisms, semi-cylinders, pyramids and other
geometric shapes that open up to the sky allowing
natural light into the internal spaces. Like other buildings
designed by the firm, here too concrete casts were used,
with some left bare and others painted orange, yellow
                                         and white.
