                     climatic sensibility. In
                     contrast to the organic-
                     curving lines of buildings
                     such as Beit Hadar (1952,
                     planned by Carl Rubin) or
                     the Kupat Holim Center
                     (1938, planned by Joseph
                     Nuefeld) – both Beit Sokolov
                     and the Agriculture Bank
                     have grid-patterned
                     facades typical of office
                     buildings conceptualized
                     as “containers of work
                     spaces,” whose exteriors
                     reflect the layout of the
                     spaces within. The entrances
                     to these buildingsare
                     designed with accentuating-
                     expressive components,
