General view from the east, 1968 may be the design proposed by Oscar Niemeyer for
1968 ,מראה כללי ממזרח the Haifa University campus a few months prior to this
competition. As opposed to Niemeyer’s freeform and
plastic creation, the architects were consistent in the
modernist language they developed throughout their
Jerusalem projects. The campus layout is based on
prism shapes cladded in hewn stone that accentuates
their horizontal aspect.
