Central square, 1965 standing at the edge of the square on the top of the hill,
1965 ,‫הרחבה המרכזית‬ serves as a spatial focal point. Its box-like shape is set
on an open ground floor, which lends it lightness and
uniqueness. Two rooms rise from its top, each with a
concrete roof – a gesture to European Brutalism, similar
to that seen in other buildings planned by the firm during
that period, most notably the Jewish National and
University Library, completed in 1960. Currently, 980
pupils study at the Boyar High School, of them 300 live
                      on its premises.
