                     and Hebrew University
                     Library (1955-60) and the
                     Elias Sourasky Central
                     Library at Tel Aviv University
                     (1964-68) – two buildings
                     planned by the firm in the
                     1950s and 1960s – are both
                     characterized by their formal
                     and material massiveness,
                     clear plans, and simple
                     layouts that enable easy
                     access throughout. Despite
                     their differences, both were
                     designed as monumental
                     masses above a pilotis level
